Hyderabad cops crack down on vehicles using tinted glass

The traffic police said they had started implementation of a recent Supreme Court order in this regard.

The car owners were fined Rs 100, as against the regular fine of Rs 500, so that the punishment would not be harsh but a message would go out that police were serious about implementing the apex court order, Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic) C V Anand said.
