to death under the wheels of a passing vehicle on Dumka-Bhagalpur Road in Dumka district today, forest department sources said.
The incident occurred when the wild animal suddenly came in front of the vehicle and got crushed under its wheels, sources said.
Pieces of the animal were collected from the spot and was sent for post-mortem.
