"With Bollywood films, you get lucky or you don't. But I am not chasing films at all now. I have been around for a while now and I know if there is anything interesting, the makers will approach me," Indraneil told PTI.

"For a newcomer, it is important to go around and get work. People know me in the industry so if they need me, they will call. I am well past my time to be roaming," the actor added.

Indraneil, who has acted in hit Bengali films like "Autograph" and "Arekti Premer Golpo", will be next see on the Zee TV show "Jamai Raja" season two.

The actor will be seen as a renowned industrialist Dev Sengupta post the leap of two years on the show.

"I don't watch TV much but I had seen a few episodes of the show and I genuinely liked it. People say TV doesn't do much for actors but it is wrong. It has a lot of potential and especially a show as popular as this."

Indraneil says doing daily soaps is "tiring" but worth the efforts.

"Doing a daily soap is very difficult, especially in the initial schedule where you are working for almost 25-26 days continuously. Then, when the storyline evolves the characters are well divided and we have separate tracks.

"It is indeed tiring. It demands a lot of time and in between you can't commit yourself anywhere. But TV is highly rewarding.
