Asserting that he does not know politics, Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan today said he was not joining any political party.
"Just because I have campaigned for a social cause that does not mean I am joining politics... I am not in politics. I don't know politics and I am not going to be there," Bachchan said when asked whether he would join politics like his wife Jaya Bachchan, who is a Rajya Sabha MP of the Samajwadi Party.
Incidentally, Bachchan, in October, had swept streets in Mumbai as part of the Swachh Bharat campaign launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi raising rumours that he was joining the BJP.
