Having lent her voice to various chart-busters, Neeti Mohan is open to doing films also if an offer comes her way.

Neeti, who made her singing debut in 2012 with "Ishq Wala Love" in "Student of the Year", has sung songs like "Tune Maari Entriyaan" and "India Waale".

The singer had appeared in Imtiaz Ali's "Socha Na Tha", but she said there was no conscious thought to act in films.

"I acted in that film by chance. It wasn't that I was wanting to be in movies. But, I've done theatre in Delhi and I've always felt that as an artist, music, dance and acting go hand-in-hand. It's a creative process," Neeti told PTI.

"I am open to films, but there is no conscious thought yet. But Mohit Chauhan keeps on joking that I might get lots of offers from TV serials," the 36-year-old singer said.

Neeti will be seen alongside singer Mohit Chauhan in a music video, singing the title track of upcoming TV show "Yeh Hai Aashiqui". The duo has shot the music video together and will be featuring in some of the episodes in the series as musical narrators.

"To do something like this was very exciting. To recreate the song with Mohit, get featured in a music video and also be on the show as musical narrators, that was the best part. I was very happy when I first heard that the makers wanted me to do this," she said.

Neeti was the winner of the Channel V show "Popstars" and became a member of the pop group 'Aasma'. She said it was a fun experience to shoot a music video for a TV show.

"The experience of shooting of was very nice. It has been filmed artistically. Generally we believe films are big budget, larger than life, and there are a lot of constraints while you're shooting anything for TV. But the amount of creativity put in behind the idea is amazing," she said.
