A car belonging to an official of the information and broadcasting ministry, bearing a home ministry sticker was allegedly stolen from west Delhi's Hari Nagar, police said today.
The car belonging to Harcharan Kaur was stolen when she had come to visit her relatives in Hari Nagar along with her husband last night, they said.
While leaving their relative's residence, she found the vehicle to be missing and informed the police about it.
It was Kaur's personal car and the sticker was pasted as she was working in the Information and Broadcasting ministry.
The police said they are scanning CCTV footages from the area to identify the accused and other security agencies have been informed about the theft.
