I&B seeks out for firms for innovative new media content

With Narendra Modi government's focus on new media, the Information and Broadcasting Ministry is looking for firms which can provide it services ranging from creating content to tracking sentiment on social media platforms like blogs, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube etc.

Two requests for proposal (RFP) have been floated, in one of which the ministry is looking to choose an agency at its Social Media Communication Hub for services related to 24x7 function, operation and maintenance.

In the second RFP, it is looking for an agency for covering events, packaging and uploading of content, content creation on social media.

The scope of work of the agency for its social media communication hub as per the RFP includes creative designing and repackaging of content, social media tracking, response management and early warning system apart from supply of hardware and software.
 

In the other RFP, it is mentioned that the ministry intends to select an agency for covering events, content creation and editing on social media platforms and packaging and uploading of content for its new media wing.

To cover major events of I&B ministry such as press conference, symposium, seminars, meetings, activities, film festival, workshop, functions, Minister's bytes etc, the ministry plans to select an agency which will be responsible for event coverage, photography, video recording, content writing, editing and repackaging in different forms and to post on different social media platforms.
