Troubled actress Amanda Bynes defended herself and claimed that the authorities have no proof of drugs on her when she was arrested.

Bynes, 27, who was arrested ten days ago when she allegedly threw a marijuana bong outside her 36th-floor window of her New York City apartment, said her name has become headlines after she got arrested for a drug-related case, reported Ace Showbiz.

"The DA (District Attorney) and my lawyer talked today. They have no proof of drugs on me or around me at anytime during the arrest of after. Thanks for lying about me! All I'm becoming is more famous!" she posted on Twitter.

Although the actress previously announced that her lawyer got her case dropped, New York County District Attorney's Office said that the case was only pending.

Another court hearing is set for June 7.
