Noel Gallagher, lead guitarist of rock band Oasis, does not want his kids to "be like him".

The 48-year-old father of three- daughter Anais Gallagher, 15 and sons, Sonny Patrick MacDonald Gallagher, 3, and Donovan Rory MacDonald, 6, said his children have "amazing childhood" and he wants them to be "smart intelligent guys" not "scruffy oiks from a council estate", reported the Daily Mirror.

"My kids have got an amazing childhood. I want them to be smart intelligent guys.

"I don't want them to be scruffy oiks from a council estate. I don't want them to be like me. I want to be the only me in my house and I want them to be them," Gallagher said.

The "Some Might Say" rocker who spend his childhood in council estate of Manchester does not want to stop his kids from having "private school, nice clothes, holidays, cars and all that."

"Just because I didn't have any money to speak of until I was 26, I'm not going to deny them private school, nice clothes, holidays, cars and all that," he said.
