Delhi Daredevils captain Kevin Pietersen admitted that he was wrong in opting to field against Rajasthan Royals in yet another crushing defeat for the Delhi Daredevils.
"I must put my hand up first as I got it wrong at the toss. The pitch got a lot slower. I admit that it's not going according to the plan. We are not here to blame anybody. It's a young squad and we need to look to perform a lot better next year," Pietersen said at the post-match presentation ceremony.
Rival captain Steve Smith said,"Batsmen played beautifully. The bowlers also stuck to their plans and executed it well. We try and target better players in the opposition and will do so in the business end also."

"Really enjoyed batting on this wicket. Wicket was slightly slow but we didn't talk about the targets. We wanted to play a positive game. Whoever is set in the middle that guy needs to bat through and today it was my turn."
Veteran all-rounder Rajat Bhatia said that it meant a lot to him to get the international players like Kevin Pietersen and Ross Taylor out.
"I have never played for India so it's a great feeling to get these international players out. In our team, each and every player has a specific role," he said.
