A day after SP accused UP Governor Ram Naik of acting as an "extra constitutional authority" by commenting on the law and order situation, Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today said that he has good relations with the Governor.

"I have good relation with Governor. I am going to give him Diwali greetings", Akhilesh told reporters.

Yadav was asked to comment on party General secretary Naresh Agarwal's yesterday statement advising the Governor to remain within his constitutional limit otherwise the party was ready for "hulla bol" (offensive) against him.

When asked about resolution on constitutional limitations of Governors at the SP national executive meeting earlier this month, Akhilesh said that a lot of issues were discussed during the meet.

Naik's remark that there is a need to improve law and order in the state yesterday riled ruling Samajwadi Party which hit back accusing him of trying act like an "extra constitutional authority" and threatening to launch an offensive against him.
