Singer Britney Spears claims she has never met pop star Taylor Swift in her life, even though they have been clicked together previously.
During a show, the 34-year-old "Womanizer" hitmaker was asked on who would she rather sit next to on a 24-hour flight to Sydney? Taylor Swift or Katy Perry?, reported E! Online.
To which the pop star replied that she would choose Swift over Perry as she has not met the "Blank Space" hitmaker before.
"I don't know! I don't know, that's hard. They're both so cool, I don't know. "I've briefly met Katy Perry at the Smurfs movie premiere.
"Maybe because I've met Katy Perry I would say Taylor Swift, because I've never met her before," she said.
Hours after her statement the fans hit out at the singer for her comment and posted her old pictures with Swift on Twitter.
