The organisers have released a playlist for the opening event and the girl band did not feature in the list, which includes David Bowie, Oasis, Sugababes, Arctic Monkeys, Duran Duran, Blur and Coldplay, reported Contactmusic.
"I don't know exactly where this list has come from, and obviously sometimes things come out that aren't quite right, but I think we absolutely represented Britain in the 90s," the 38-year-old said.
"So I think it would be a real shame if we weren't acknowledged in some way at the Olympics," she added.
