I love rains : Rituparna

To commemorate the festive season with the women of Bengal, premier femme magazine Femina roped in Tollywood diva Rituparna Sengupta to mark its special launch.

"Femininity is extolled by positivity and optimism. By multitasking ability and mustering inner strength which come to women most naturally," the Dahan actor said after the launch.

Rituparna advised the girls wishing to join acting of modeling to be prepared to face setbacks.

"Nothing will come on a platter. And you will be ready to be shortcharged at the outset. And being yourself pays."

To a question Rituparna referred Sabysachi Mukherjee as one of her favourite designers.
 

The reigning star of Bengali films in a chit-chat recalled one craziest moment of her shooting when she came out of studio during rains "as it was too hot and stuffy inside and shooting had to be called off for some time."

"I love rains," she told the women's mag moderator.

"One single reason Femina Bangla Pujo happened since we believed the feisty and fun, the real and glamorous, the style and substance all merge together and there could be no better way," Femina Bangla Editor-in-Chief Tanya Chaitanya said.

Published in 1959, for over 50 years Femina had been country's largest read premier women's journal in English.
