Actress Felicity Jones screamed with joy after she was informed of bagging a BAFTA nomination for her performance in 'The Theory of Everything', a biopic on scientist Stephen Hawkings.
Jones has been nominated in the leading actress category for her portrayal of Hawkings' first time. She is competing against Amy Adams (Big Eyes), 'Still Alice' star Julianne Moore, Reese Witherspoon for 'Wild' and Rosamund Pike for 'Gone Girl', reported BBC.
"I've been running round my hotel room screaming. I feel very lucky to be in such remarkable company. I've watched those performances and I feel like they're very exciting for women in film because they are all revolutionary performances," Jones said.
BAFTA, hosted by Stephen Fry, will take place on February 8 at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, London.
