More than five months after suffering injury due to cycling accident, U2 frontman Bono still cannot play guitar.

He said though he has returned performing on stage, he is still unable to bend two of his fingers after the unfortunate incident, reported Ace Showbiz.

"It feels like I have somebody else's hand. I can't bend these (fingers), and this is like rigor mortis," the Irish rocker said.

"But they say that nerves heal about a millimeter a week, so in about 13 months I should know if it's coming back. It's all numb here, and this is titanium. The shoulder's better, the face is better. But this is the hard bit because I can't play guitar. They (the band) don't seem to mind," he added.

Back in November last year, U2 was forced to postpone their residency on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" after frontman Bono had a cycling accident in New York.

Fellow band members Adam Clayton, The Edge, and Larry Mullen Jr announced the unfortunate news in a post shared on their website.
