R&B star Rihanna's father Ronald Fenty says her relationship with Chris Brown has his blessing and he hopes they have children together soon.
Fenty thinks his daughter would be a great mother and that the on-off couple should get married, reported Contactmusic.
"Of course they'd have my blessing if they wanted to marry. I would be ecstatic. I like Chris. He's a very old-fashioned kind of guy, with straight-up morals and he's always been very decent to me.
"The next thing should be to have at least one child. I would like it to happen. I'm sure she'd be a great mum," he said.
Rihanna and Brown initially split after he assaulted her in February 2009, but Fenty thinks the 23-year-old singer deserves a second chance and shouldn't be seen as a villain.
"I had problems with alcohol and drugs. I know people can drink and it can change their personalities. I think Chris has learned his lesson and it's time the public left them alone to get on with their lives. A lot of people in Barbados still like Chris Brown. They've forgiven him as I've forgiven him.
"I wish people in the Western world would see he's not the villain he's made out to be. He shouldn't have a life sentence for one mistake. Everybody needs a second chance. It's up to him what he does with it. I think he's smart enough not to blow it again," he added.
