Saina, who is also the brand ambassador of the Hyderabad-based team, said she is preparing for the London Olympics in earnest.
"The Olympics is still three months to go and my training is going on fine. I want to build more stamina and speed and hope to do better than I did last time around," Saina said on the sidelines of the IPL match between Deccan Chargers and Kings XI Punjab.
The 22-year-old from Hyderabad couldn't attend much matches of Deccan as she was busy with her international commitments.
"I was busy with the Olympic preparation and was playing tournaments. So I couldn't come and watch their match. But I have followed them and they have come so close of winning so many matches but defeats are part of the game. I hope they win today and do well in the tournament," she said.
Asked how does she deal with defeats herself, the world number five Indian said: "It is difficult. It depends on the particular day how you play and so the only thing I can do is go back, train harder and come back and hope to do well."
