"I was always with BCCI. I started my career with it. I am happy to help the BCCI in whatever capacity," More told reporters here after meeting president N Srinivasan at the board's headquarters.

The BCCI had banned More with immediate effect after he joined the ICL in 2007 along with former India captain Kapil Dev and several others.

Prior to the fifth edition of the IPL, More had written to the BCCI seeking amnesty, having rejected the same offer in 2009. He was a chief selector before joining now defunct ICL.

On Kapil's decision to patch up with the BCCI, More said, "Kapil is a legend. He is like a big brother. I am happy that he is back."

The former stumper also said that Kapil was supportive of More's decision of joining the cricket board.

"He was very positive. He told me Kiran you must go back. He advised me rightly. I have always taken advise from him," revealed More, adding that Kapil could contribute to the game as he was one of the best all-rounders in the world.
