Comedian-actor Stephen Fry says the highlight of his long career has been working with his friend Hugh Laurie.
Speaking in an interview about his life and career, Fry, 58, said that he's never been happier than when he was with Laurie, reported Digital Spy.
"Comedy, which is how I started out with my friend Hugh Laurie and some of my happiest memories are with Hugh. In the old days we did shows together and I don't think I've ever been happier, it was an extraordinary experience.
"He's just someone that was put on the planet to mesh with me I felt and I hope he felt the same about me. We complimented each other in that way that's so pleasing with collaboration," Fry said.
He said, if all he ever accomplished in the business was the early collaborations with his friend, he would have been fulfilled.
"I'll never forget that. If that's all I'd ever done and retired and become a school teacher, I'd have been very happy with my career.
