Singer FKA Twigs has revealed she was once attacked near her home in east London.
The 27-year-old fiance of actor Robert Pattinson said this is the reason she does not go out too often near the house she shares with an artist friend.
"I was mugged outside the yoga studio," said the singer, who is often spotted without security - even getting a night bus with Pattinson, 29, in Shoreditch on New Year's Eve.
She also said she does not go to clubs and bars as she hardly ever drinks and will not go to galleries on Brick Lane with 'hipsters' in the local area.
"I'm not the kind of person who goes to an exhibition on a Thursday night just because everyone is. It's so bad to be basic," Twigs said.
