It also has a tie up with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) that has been instrumental in promoting retired air warriors into the corporate world in a big way, an official statement said.
This has been made possible by the creation of a "trade equilisation chart" prepared by IAFPC which explains the job proficiencies of an air warrior and the equivalent capabilities that he can be employed for in the civil sector, it said.
It has enabled technicians of the Air Force to get employment in Bangalore Metro and Hyderabad Metro.
A large number of private as well as public sector undertakings had set up stalls at the venue to pick up the right talent.
The prominent names included HAL (Nasik Division), BDL, Reliance JIO, Muthoot Finance, Tata Power SED, HDFC Life, Havells, GE Corporate.
Over 4000 air warriors are likely to attend the fair.
