: The IAS Officers Association
of Andhra Pradesh on Sunday announced three days salary of its members as a donation to the Chief Ministers Relief Fund towards COVID-19 relief measures.
Association general secretary K Praveen Kumar, in a statement, said, In view of this unprecedented crisis, besides working constantly in their official capacity for prevention, containment and control of coronavirus, the IAS officers decided to help the people and the government in a personal capacity as well by contributing an amount of three days' salary to the CM Relief Fund."
The enormous human suffering inflicted by the rapid spread of the coronavirus across the world is a great tragedy, he said.
Herculean efforts were made by the state government to protect the people from coronavirus and mitigate their hardships, Praveen Kumar, a Special Chief Secretary to the government, added.
