IAS officers transferred; Maharashtra Sadan gets new chief

In a minor reshuffle, the Maharashtra government today transferred three IAS officers and appointed one of them as the new Resident Commissioner of its guest house in New Delhi.

Sham Lal Goyal, a 1985-batch IAS officer, has been appointed Resident Commissioner and Additional Chief Secretary, Maharashtra Sadan, New Delhi, in place of Abha Shukla, an official said.

Maharashtra Sadan is the state government's guest house in the national capital.

Currently, Goyal is Additional Chief Secretary, Water Supply and Sanitation Department of the state government and based in Mumbai, he said.

Shukla, a 1993-batch bureaucrat, has been posted as Principal Secretary, Water Supply and Sanitation Department, Mumbai.

 

A R Kale, a 2005-batch IAS officer, has been posted as Joint Secretary, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department, Mantralaya (state secretariat).
