The Indian Boxing Council's second fight card scheduled here on April 23 will feature 10 professional bouts, of which three will be six-round contests.

The rest of the seven bouts will be of four rounds of three-minutes each.

The boxers, who will compete in the event, are currently training in Pune in a camp organised by the IBC with legendary American Coach Joe Clough at work as Technical Director.

Joe has trained the likes of former Olympic Gold medallists Leo Randolph and Sugar Ray Seales along with world champions Rocky Lockridge and Johnny Bumphus among others.

He is being assisted by Gupta Bahadur Gurung as chief coach who has trained the likes of Dingko Singh and Som Bahadur Poon.

The IBC will soon organise Indian national title bouts which will be 8, 10 and 12-round bouts while the zonal-state/city titles will be of six and eight rounds, respectively.

The performances of these pro-boxers will be observed and recorded by the IBC Ranking and Rating Commission. Each boxer will be graded and updated on the IBC website from August this year.

The April 23 event marks the beginning of the buildup for Vijender Singh's homecoming, scheduled for June 11 when he will compete for his maiden title -- the WBO Asia belt against a yet-to-be-announced opponent.

Vijender has won all his four bouts in the professional circuit since making his debut last year in October.
