Jet Setters, the organisers of the event, today said films from the neighbouring Bangladesh will also be awarded separately in the ceremony.
Comprising directors, producers and actors, a selection committee has been formed to shortlist nominations from more than 100 films.
Jet Setters' Tarakeshwar Singh said a buyers and sellers meet is also being contemplated to create a market for Bengali movies worldwide.
The five-day extravaganza to be held in the 'land of pyramids' in the second week of March 2013 will screen 20 films from West Bengal.
A retrospective of six films of actress Rituparna Sengupta, who also happens to be the face of the event, will also be held.

Sources said the organisers have approached Hollywood artist Bryan Adams to perform for IBFA 2013. Besides, other big Indian names will be showing their talents.
The inaugural edition of IBFA was held earlier this year in Pattaya, Thailand.
Rituparna is the ambassador of the event while director Goutam Ghosh is the mentor and advisor to IBFA.
All Bengali films released this year would be entitled for nomination, the organisers said.
