ICAI to set up exam centre in Kashmir University

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has decided to set up an examination centre at the Kashmir University for the students of the Valley, authorities said today.

"The ICAI is going to conduct exams in Kashmir for the first time for students pursuing intermediate and final program of the chartered accountancy. ICAI has decided to establish a centre at Kashmir University this year," Professor Mohi-ud-Din Sangmi, Head of the Department of Business and Financial Studies (DBFS) at the university, said.

Sangmi said setting of an examination centre in the Valley would benefit many students who want to pursue a career in chartered accountancy.
 

He said students appearing in examinations scheduled for November-December 2013 can opt for Srinagar centre.
