Icy winds sweeping through north-western Rajasthan for the fourth consecutive day today affected normal life with hill station Mount Abu experiencing the freezing point last night.
Fog in neighbouring states of Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, and Delhi affected rail and road services in Rajasthan. Thirteen trains were running late and three other trains were rescheduled, an official of NWR said.
Jammu-Tawai-Ajmer train was running late by 7:50 hrs, followed by Rishikesh-Ganganagar by 6:50 hrs, and Sealdah-Ajmer by 6:15 hrs, the official said.

Despite clear sky, people in Jaipur experienced the coldest night with minimum temperature of 4.3 degrees Celsius, the lowest in the new year so far. There was however some respite due to bright sunshine and no fog conditions in the Pink City.
Meanwhile, Sriganganagar recorded a minimum of 3.3 degrees Celsius, Pilani and Jaislamer recorded 4.6 degrees Celsius each, followed by Udaipur 5, Churu 5.4, Barmer 7, Jodhpur 7.5, and Kota 8.2 degrees Celsius.
No respite in icy wind pattern is expected in the next 24 hours in the state, a forecast said.
