Identification of Brus at Naisingpara camp to resume on Monday

The ongoing process of identification of Brus at Naisingpara, which commenced from November 15, could not be completed today, Mizoram-Tripura border Mamit district deputy commissioner Lalbiaksangi said.

Lalbiaksangi told PTI over phone that identification process at Naisingpara, the largest of the six relief camps in North Tripura, would resume on Monday and would be continued until completed.

She said the identification, scheduled to be conducted at Hazacherra, the last relief camp, would be postponed till the process was completed at Naisingpara relief camp.

As per the Road Map-V for Bru Repatriation, the identification process began from November 2 and was scheduled to be completed on November 21.
