The two catalogues of the 45th Edition of International Film Festival of India (IFFI) carried the message of Prakash Javadekar and Manohar Parrikar as Information and Broadcasting minister and Goa chief minister respectively instead of their successors.

The catalogues, which were circulated to the media during a press conference today, carried message of Javadekar as an I&B minister, alongside the message of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

And Parrikar's message was carried as the Goa chief minister.

In a recent cabinet reshuffle, Javadekar was replaced by BJP leader Arun Jaitley as the new I&B minister while Parrikar was elevated as the Defence Minister.

Both catalogues - Indian Cinema IFFI 2014 and International Cinema IFFI 2014, will be circulated to 13,000-odd delegates including foreign visitors who will be attending the festival.

Director of the film festival Shankar Mohan said that the "error" happened as the cabinet reshuffle took place after the catalogues were printed.

"The change (reshuffling) happened after catalogues were printed. If catalogues were sent for printing now, we would have got it after six weeks," he said.

The 11-day-long festival will be inaugurated by megastar Amitabh Bachchan tomorrow.

Southern superstar Rajnikanth would be conferred with the Centenary Award.

I&B minister Arun Jaitley and Parrikar will also be present at the opening ceremony, he said.
