The IGP (Meerut Zone) has been asked to examine the CD of a sting operation on policemen in violence-torn Muzaffarnagar district by a news channel.
"We have seen the report and the Inspector General of Police, Meerut Zone, has been asked to examine it," UP IGP (Law and Order) R K Vishwakarma told reporters here.
Asked on which point the IGP would examine the CD, he said all aspects would be looked into.

On the arrest of BJP MLAs, the IGP (Law and Order) said warrants had been issued by a court and legal process would follow.
He said the National Security Act had not been invoked against any MLA, adding NSAs had been served on eight persons so far.
Non-bailable arrest warrants were issued by a local court against a BSP MP, two MLAs each of BJP and BSP and 11 other political and community leaders for allegedly inciting communal violence in Muzaffarnagar that has left 47 dead.
