IICT scientist selected for NASI award

Singh, who works in the Inorganic and Physical Chemistry division of the city-based IICT, has been involved in novel C-C bond forming reactions and synthesis of new and highly efficient sensitisers for dye-sensitised solar cells, a release said.

Singh has also worked on organic-thin film solar cells and authored over 60 papers in science journals besides having edited two books and penned chapters for as many books, the release said.

The Allahabad-based National Academy of Sciences, India (NASI) is the oldest science academy of the country with an objective to provide a national forum for the publication of research work carried out by Indian scientists and to provide opportunities for exchange of views among them.
