The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) and the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) today jointly launched foundation courses in digital cinematography and acting.
The courses would be conducted at IIMC's New Delhi campus, an IIMC release said.
The courses were inaugurated by Doordarshan Director General Supriya Sahu in the presence of IIMC DG K G Suresh and FTII director Bhupendra Kainthola.
Suresh said the launch of the courses at the IIMC would enable students from northern India, particularly Delhi-NCR, to gain from FTII faculty members.
As many as 48 students of different age group and from 10 different states joined the courses, the IIMC release said.
