Jaydev Vishkarma fell while trying to get down from the train which was slowing down at the station, Circle Officer Dinesh Singh said.
Vishkarma, who joined the engineering institute last year, was on way to his home in Marwar village to visit his family during vacations.
Vishkama's body was identified from his ATM card, Singh said, adding that the family was then duly informed.
