IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company today announced the resignation of its managing director Murli Dhar Khattar with effect from October 6.
"Murli Dhar Khattar, Managing Director of the company has vide email dated October 1 conveyed his intention to resign as MD and also as member of the board with effect from October 6," IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company said in a BSE filing.
It further said: "The Board of Directors at its meeting on October 6 will consider the proposal for appointment of Managing Director in his place."
Shares of IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company were trading 1.68 per cent higher at Rs 54.35 on BSE.
