IL&FS Engineering gets completion certificate from NHAI

IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company today said it has received a completion certificate from NHAI for a road project in Assam.

"The company has received a Taking-Over Certificate for Substantial Completion from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) regarding an Assam-19 road project," IL&FS Engineering and Construction said in a regulatory filing.

The project covers widening of NH-37 in Assam on the east-west corridor under phase-II programme of NHDP.

"The project includes widening and strengthening of existing NH-37 from two-lane to four-lane... Of Dharmatul-Sonapur section under phase-II programme of NHDP," it said.

The company has executed the Assam-17 road project in the North East, too.
 

Currently, it's on the job executing Assam-25 and Nagaland road projects, it added.

The stock was trading at Rs 70.80 on BSE, up 2.76 per cent, at 1333 hrs.
