A suspected gunrunner was arrested here with four firearms procured from Siwan in Bihar, police said today.
Police had set up a special team to look into the illegal trade of firearms in outer Delhi after it came to their notice that weapons were being procured from UP and Bihar and were being sold to criminals in the national capital.
Khajanchi Singh (50) is an illegal arms dealer. He was arrested on September 21 from Prem Nagar here, Joy Tirkey, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime), said

Two 7.65 bore pistols, three magazines, ten 7.65 bore rounds, two .315 bore country-made pistols, four .315 bore rounds and ten 12 bore rounds were seized from him, he added.
During questioning, Singh told the police he had procured the weapons from Siwan in Bihar in January.
