Illegal arms factory busted, four held

An illegal arms factory was busted today and four persons held in this connection from a village in Bihar's Nawada district, a police officer said.

Acting on a tip-off, the police raided Jamalpur village and busted an illegal arms factory and seized a country-made rifle, a pistol, 12 cartridges, besides raw materials used for manufacturing weapons, the Superintendent of Police (SP) Parvez Akhtar said.

Four persons were arrested from the spot while they were processing weapons, he said, adding that the accused have been booked under arms act.
