Police today claimed to have unearthed an illegal arms manufacturing unit here following the arrest of a man and seizure of a dozen pistols from his possession.
Acting on a tip-off, police raided a house at Harsoli village yesterday and recovered 12 pistols from the premises, Station Incharge Naresh Yadav said.
The house owner, Wakil Ahmed, was arrested while his accomplice escaped from the spot, he said.
