Illegal arms selling racket busted, 2 held

With the arrest of two persons, Delhi Police today claimed to have busted a illegal arms selling racket in the national capital.

Acting on a tip-off, Harun Ali (27) and Mohd Sabir (28) were arrested near Rajouri Garden flyover and five pistols and 12 cartridges were recovered from them, said Additional Commissioner of Police (West) V Renganathan.

During interrogation, the duo told police that their gang leader Mohd Sakil runs a factory of illegal arms in Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar town, he said.

Investigation is on to apprehend the kingpin, police said.
