An illegal arms manufacturing unit was busted and one person was arrested in this connection from Bihar's Munger district late last night, police said today.
Acting on a tip off, police raided Bardah riverine area under Mufassil police station of the district and seized two fully automatic pistols, three semi-made pistols, eight magazines, 10 semi-made magazines, five barrels of pistols and equipment for manufacturing illegal guns, Superintendent of Police Ashish Bharti said.
One person was nabbed at the spot but seven of his associates managed to flee, the SP said, adding that the arrested man has been sent to jail.
