Police today claimed to have busted an illegal firearms making factory at Panhiya Barawn village here and arrested one person in this connection.
Superintendent of Police B D Shukla said that a police team led by SO of Balrampur, Dehat, N B Yadav conducted a raid in the village on a tip-off and busted the factory which was manufacturing arms illegally.
The arrested person has been identified as Sukhdev Gautam, the SP said adding, one pistol 35 bore, one country-made pistol and other materials used in making weapons were recovered from his house.
