One person was arrested after an illegal minigun factory was busted today at a village under Bachnaha police station area in Bihar's Sitmarhi district, police said.
Acting on a tip-off, police raided one Shivchandra Thakur's house in Chirkaulia village and busted an illegal minigun factory being run by the family, DSP Mithilanand Upadhyaya said.
A haul of processed and semi-processed weapons and allied materials used for manufacturing weapons were seized from the spot, Upadhyay said, adding, the houseowner's son Rambriksha Thakur has been arrested and booked under relevant provisions of law.
