The Haryana health department carried out the raid and sealed the ultrasound machine at Saunda village in Ambala.
Senior medical officer of Brara area, B B Lala, had received information about illegal sex determination tests being carried out by a registered medical practitioner, Jaspal, at his residence in Saunda.
The SMO sent two women decoys and Jaspal demanded Rs 6,000 for conducting ultrasound at the clinic, a spokesman of the health Department said here.
After that police team along with SMO conducted raid and arrested Jaspal along with two other persons.
They were booked under provisions of Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (PNDT) Act.
