Police made the seizure on a tip off that a van from Tulsi Niketan colony in Delhi bordering Ghaziabad was carrying the illicit liquor worth Rs 40,000.
The arrested bootlegger is a resident of Sultanpuri in Delhi, police said, adding that he used to smuggle liquor from Haryana and sell it in other states, including far off places like Arunachal Pradesh, Sahibabad SHO R S Yadav said.
