Indian Military Academy Commandant Lt Gen S K Saini today led a host of officers in paying homage to the martyred alumni of the prestigious training academy and laid a wreath at the war memorial on its campus.
The wreath laying ceremony is held at the war memorial every term as a prelude to the Passing Out Parade so as to inspire the cadets to keep up the tradition of making the supreme sacrifice for the nation, an IMA release here said.
The names of 832 martyred alumni are etched in the memorial.
610 cadets passing out tomorrow resolved to keep the nation's flag flying high on the occasion.
