Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, lifted the Bakshi Cup 2014, a sports meet for trainees of three premier officer training academies at nearby Ezhimala today.
The academies are National Defence Academy, Khadakvasla, Indian Military Academy, Dehradun and Indian Naval Academy.
The IMA team won the sports meet and lifted the Bakhshi cup on the basis of their consistent performance throughout the event, a release from INA said here.

NDA and INA teams came second and third. It was the first time INA had hosted this prestigious tournament at Ezhimala.
Earlier in the day, INA prevailed over IMA in the basketball match 75-61.
In the squash finals, NDA beat IMA, while the football final saw NDA beat IMA 1-0. The lone goal was scored by Battalion Cadet Captain H Kongsai, who ended as the top scorer of the tournament with three goals.
Yesterday IMA had won the cross country event.
A total of more than 120 cadets from the three academies took part in the sports meet.
Vice Admiral P Ajit Kumar, Commandant, INA presented the 'Bakhshi Cup - 2014' to the IMA team.
