IMC worker killed on duty

A 26-year old civic body employee was allegedly murdered today by a cattle rearer during a drive against stray cattle here, police said.

Indore Municipal corporation (IMC) worker Shubham Kushwah was stabbed to death today during the IMC's drive in Gauri Nagar area of the city.

"Cattle rearer Bhaiyu Yadav had a scuffle with Kushwah during the drive and stabbed him to death," Superintendent of Police (East Zone) Avdhesh Goswami said.

The accused fled the spot soon after committing the crime, Goswami said, adding that hunt was on to nab him.
