IMFL bottles seized from express train

An unclaimed box containing over 100 Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) bottles was today seized by Railway Police from the Dehradun-Kochuveli express train at Kannur railway station, about 90 km from here, police said.

Excise officials said the box containing 50 bottles of 750 ml, nine bottles (375 ml) and 50 bottles (150 ml) was found by railway staff who informed the RPF.

Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel seized the box and handed over it to excise officials.

No arrest has been made in this connection, they said.
