A person, who allegedly used to cheat people by posing as a government official, was today arrested after he called a senior police official posing as an officer posted at chief minister's residence and asked for police enforcement.

Amin alias Chhanga called the office of Superintendent of Police on June 9 and posed as an officer posted at Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav's residence, police said.

"He asked deployment of police force in his village Sisaiya Kala and was caught after a probe," SP, Arvind Sen Yadav said.

He said Amin had duped several people on his bogus identity.
